I've been working in Perkins Lab at the University of Notre Dame since 2016. My main focus is to develop and simulate agent-based models of dengue.
I conducted research in my PhD at the Public Health Dynamics Laboratory. I designed and implemented a vector-borne disease transmission model in the agent-based model FRED.
My role as a researcher at the Modeling and Control of Biological Systems research group was to model and analyze dengue trnamission dynamics using deterministic and agent-based models.
I worked with the school of public health at the National University of Colombia in developing a mathematical model to estimate the burden of dengue in Colombia. We also used this model to design optimal control strategies for possible vaccination scenarios.
I taught to engineering students the class sensors and actuators, and assisted the laboratory of the class automatic control.
